According to a source at http://rightwinger.townhall.com/ , Nanny Pelosi was found in a John Birch Society meeting late last week.
The intent of her sojurn into the dark side was not immediately clear. She had apparently gone dressed as a Rastifarian including dredlocks.

On being denied entrance, she used her House of Reps ID with aa $100 bill to the Master at Arms in attendance at the door,to finagle an entry to the open door meeting. After entering and mingling during the pre-meeting happy hour and imbibing approximately three martinis, a pair of scotch and sodas and two Rum shots, she was then ready to do battle with the other attendees.

At that point though she was also just a little to sloshed to maintain control of her thought processes. She kept mumbling about wanting the other "Dyke Bitch" and Billy the Two Timer to let her have a chance at ruining the Country.

When Ms Nanny had finally succumbed to the Demon Rum and quieted down. The meeting began in earnest, at which point Ms Nanny jumped up and started screaming about wanting the U.S.S. George Washington as her Official "Boat" and "they would just have to figure out how to land a 747 on that damn thing."

At the end of the meeting Ms. Nanny was left slumped over a chair murmuring about the size of someones "gerbil" in her purse.
Oddly Richard Gere had never made an appearance at the meeting.

No one want s to know they've been living in a lifestyle which is dangerous (healthwise) and viewed with disdain simply because the hormonal balnce was skewed from the norm.

How much better it must seem to simply be the victim of nature, through random processes beyond the ability of anyone to fix. Instead of seeking a cure to abnormal behavior, the humanistic, relativistic cultural approach is to embrace the abnormal behavior with great enthusiasm. Making the practitioners of abberant behavior to seem 'special' and to honor them for the abnormality. How degrading that really is though, instead of being celebrated for ones achievments and efforts. As if the achievments were merely a side note to a life otherwise drably boring and useless.

Somehow I believe Mozart, Einstein, Abe Lincoln and the rest of the great achievers in the history of the planet might disagree.

In a starling turn of events, a huge Ice mass has broken away from land, roughly forty one square miles in size, it is the largest piece of ice to break off from a land mass since Teddy Kennedy's drink fell off his lap. Also it is the largest piece of ice to break off a land mas in thirty years.

Saddam is dead, not a martyr. Just dead. The evil perpetrated by that fool in the name of sectarian purity, in a region where sectarian violence is an everyday occurrence was reprehensible.

Now that Saddam is dead the sectarian violence will NOT end, it will continue because Islam is predicated on violence to achieve a goal. The goal being the domination of the planet by sharia law, the domination of all people by a system of quasi-religion which only believes in hatred of their fellow human beings. Hatred based on nothing more than simply being different .

The hatred expressed by the Profit (on purpose) Muhammad was based in reason and logic, for a geographical area whose people had hated each other for centuries. That hatred and unwillingness to co-exist has not been changed, nor lessened to any extent.

There is really only a single solution to the war on terror now being fought. The answer is honesty. Honestly stating which war we are fighting. Given the opportunity we the United States would allow the culture of Islam to exist in it's many variations, just as Christianity does today.

The New flag would be a simple design.

The political situation in Israel has been tense to say the least. The president is under investigation for improper conduct in office with two women. But then so was the newly appointed head of the Supreme Court. The head of the IDF that was appointed by Omert, was found to have been given two hours notice that the Hezbollah was going to start the war. Instead of spending the time preparing the army, he spent the two hours shifting funds with his stockbroker. The Prime Minister who is over this left-wing nightmare, is under investigation for accepting a $400,000 bribe. These are the guys that held the reigns on the IDF while they shelled Israel for weeks, then surrendered to a UN treaty that is an unconditional defeat for Israel .

To say the people here are angry is an understatement. The UN has announced that they will NOT try to disarm the Hezbollah. In fact the Hezbollah are stripping their bunkers and moving the weapons into Palestinian refugee camps, the ones the UN runs. Syria has insisted that the UN forces stay off of its border and the UN did not raise a peep of protest. Now Syria can now re-arm the Hezbollah at will. The UN even announced that the UN troops do not have the right to use weapons if they confront the Hezbollah, who are now claiming a victory.

The bulk of the "International Force" that will be on the border of Israel is made up of countries that officially refuse to recognize Israel 's right to exist. So in the end, the only thing the treaty, spearheaded by the US and France has done, is to move in 10,000 troops to reinforce the Iranian proxy army.

Germany is doing some real soul searching with their UN soldiers being on the other side of a battle with the Jews once again. They are talking about only sending non combat personnel to keep from having to be in a position of killing Jews once again. Everyone here thinks this is not a cease fire, but a time for the Hezbollah to re-arm and re-group. Then the war will start again, only worse. Iran started this war, and got its wish—the time to finish its nuclear program. Iran has not just built a reactor for power; it has built over twenty facilities for the mass production of nuclear weapons.

Because the Hezbollah is officially a part of the Lebanese Government, the act of the Hezbollah was an official act of war by Lebanon against Israel . Israel hit their infrastructure to try and press home the point that their thin attempt at deniability has a steep cost. But unfortunately America is going to pay to repair the damages to Lebanon so that they can get off scot-free. So once again our tax dollars are used to protect the aggressor, but I hear nothing about helping Israel rebuild their shattered cities that have been shelled for months.

There are many calls of ‘no confidence’ in this government, but I suspect that the ones in charge will not go out quietly. They have already replaced the supreme court head with another political appointment instead of using more qualified personnel causing many calls of cronyism

Its been quite a while, but...

In an AP Story students wanted to commit mayhem on a driver who lost it in French traffic when the students decided to have a picnic in the middle of a boulevard in the middle of Paris.

French drivers have never been noted for their courteous behavior, even in th best of times, say at 3:30 in the morning when the traffic is very light.

In the modern era of diplomacy when a member of country A's staff is expelled from country B, typically country B sends one of country A's staff packing as a persona non grata also.

In the latest hoopla over some cartoons, the Lebanese (nee Syrians) and Syrians have allowed the Danish consulates in Syria and Lebanon(nee Syria) to burned.
Well, it seems only reasonable then that the Danes and any other Nordic countries interested in maintaining the diplomatioc status quo, burn down the Syrian, Lebasnese(neeSyrian), and perhaps the Saudi and Iranian embassies as a method of showing the mid-east morons even the Danes know how to play the diplomacy game.
Although I think I won't hold my breath.

Now, the Israelis on the other hand have already shown, back in 1981 they understand diplomacy. The Iranians were developing nuclear weapons so the Israelis bombed the sites.
Much as they (the Israelis) are now suggesting they may have to do again.
This time using some of the blu-109 'penetrator' bombs.
Bombs designed to pacify hardened sites placed at depth underground.
Perhaps in the midst of the raid to do so, they could hire out to the Danes and other ''Nords'' to do a little exterior and interior design work on the Syrian infrastructure.

Well it worked but.... now in the tiny town of Annapolis California, the result is to have those same forest plots sold to be cleared for the production of pinot noir grapes. Precisely because the trees are so difficult to get the permits to log!
Well guess what, if you own a hundred to a thousand acres of forest and you have to pay taxes on it, you're going to find a way to make it support itself.
Whether it's going to be logging as was the case historically or if it's to clear it off and put in grapes or even to just sell the land to developers looking for a place to grow the fragile pinot noir grape, the land now has no trees !
I wonder, can a spotted owl live in a grape vine?

Wow, Ray Nagin the Mayor of New Orleans is suggesting that God is mad the U.S., and that is the reason for all the hurricanes. Pat Robertson said the same thing and wsa characterized as eeeevilll incarnate and a racist for saying it. Probably that won't happen this time, but it should.
Nagin is also suggesting New Orleans will be a chocolate city again. Which wold be OK if that's what the residents of the city want. But it nearly sounds as if Nagin has a plan in mind to assure the chocolatization of New Orleans. Perhaps an affirmative action plan which will bring back the many thousands of former New Orleans residents who fled the destruction.
If so, who is he suggesting should pay for the process? Well that would be you and I for sure.

But the question I have to ask is why? Why are we stuck with the anachronistic idea of re-building a city below sea level? A city which is doomed to failure if the global warming advocates are to be believed.

But the more interesting aspect of the article for me is the theory behind the reason for the occurrence of déjà vu. The link between epileptic seizures and déjà vu speaks volumes about the reasons why there is such an animal as a “Liberal”.
One of the theories postulated in the article is the malfunctioning of the nerve paths from the sensory organs to the brain. The theory states there may be an “irregular activity” occurring, such as perhaps voting for John Kerry. When that happens the rate at which the signals causing you to vote for John “the Lurch” Kerry are slower than a normal signal would travel through a conservatives head. When the signals are slowed down at one pathway and arrive at another pathway terminus faster, such as GW Bush winning the election, the typical Lefty Loony Liberal brain “lurches”. Thus causing déjà vu.
This occurs because the neurological event which caused the lurch throws one of the paths out of sync. Thereby describing the vast majority of Liberalists in this country. “Out of Sync” Could be the name for a John Kerry band.
But back to the theory, one of the pathways has a neurological event which slows that pathway down a bit. Just like the tax hike Billy Clinton (and Bush 41) gave us. It didn’t shoot the economy in the head immediately, only after the business sector caught up with the problem – confiscation of the disposable income of a large segment of the TAX PAYING public. (Note that not all Americans actually PAY taxes). But as the business sector wound down from its Reagan Heydays of increasing disposable income, along comes the new kid on the block GW, with an economy showing all the signs of being badly crippled.
Now back to the theory, one pathway is slower and one pathway is at normal speed. The normal speed path gives the brain the information and when the slow “liberal” path finally delivers the information the brain believes it’s already seen that information before. Which in the case of the tax hikes- it had. Every time a Democratic (or Republican) President got an itch for the latest and greatest toy (Social Program) to End Poverty, End Illiteracy, End Drug Use, or End Ugly Americans! A face lift for every American who can’t afford one, but really, really wants one.
Another theory though points toward “implicit memory interpretation.” A feeling of” inexplicable familiarity” when your taxes are raised again. Not because you recognize the feeling of paying more to the government, most of won’t see that. We pay ‘estimated taxes’ or have ‘withholding taxes’ taken out before we even see the paycheck. No, it’s far more insidious than simply being light in the wallet. It’s when you notice that even the panhandlers have nicer shoes than you do. Or the folks picking up commodities at the local food bank eat better than you do. That’s when even the most stalwart conservative can have niggling little thoughts about giving up the sixty hour week at work to go on welfare and rake in the subsidies!
In short, (not my strong suit) whether through a slower pathway or an implicit memory interpretation, such as would be the case when a liberal social program goes awry and they need a new interpretation why it was Reagan’s fault. The earmarks of the cause for Lefty Loony Liberalism is nigh!

The Lefty Loonies and Liberalistas who are so glib about the process of discussion relating to troop withdrawal from Iraq nearly always state. "It's the Democratic Right to free Speech" as it is indeed.
The point they miss is fundamental to the problem though of how our enemies percieve the process.
Case in point the Governor of Tokyo (from Insight on the News) states that in any war with China we the U.S. will lose not merely because we can be overun by gazillions of chinese kamikazes. But also because as soon as we lose 2000 troops we would be forced to withdraw. Does that sound familiar?
So... then the question becomes if we as a Democratic society have the right (and the obligation) to discuss what we feel is important to the nation as a whole, how can we do it so as to not leave the impression overseas that we are a nation which will 'cut and run"?
It would appear that our Liberal Minority should exercize more caution when trying to grab a few headlines, or a fifteen second sound bite on th evening news. And perhaps someone should muzzle the FORMER Prez. Clinton. Maybe Shrillary could have him fitted with a muzzle while he's being neutered for her run at the Presidency.

There are days when I just don't understand the Liberalista Loonies. Today is one of them. In the House chambers tonight, Rep. Jean Schmidt, R-Ohio was speaking of a telephone call from a marine Colonel. During this speechifying from Ms. Scmidt the House chambers were brought to a standstill by the Demoncratic boos and catcalls. AND THEN Rep. Harold Ford began screaming about the name calling of Rep Schmidt and Rep. Marty Meehan began calling the Repubs - pathetic.
All this because Rep. John Murtha wants to pull the troops out of Iraq qithin six months. Essentially a 'cut and run" tactic.
The dichotomy of the issue are stuning.
But thats OK, I stopped looking for logic from Demoncrats long before I left the ranks of the DixieCrats.
ANd besides I like the idea of a free exchange of opinions from the left and the Right, in the same manner as the British Parliment.
The name calling doesn't bother me, and shouldn't bother any well adjusted personality.
And it opens the lines of communication by allowing a venting of whatever a person feels is their own version of reality.

The new funding proposal for the LIHEAP (Low Income Heating & Energy Assistance Progrm) is nothing more than an attempt at the influx of more Federal Dollars (some of them mine) into corprate welfare.
The concept is a typical 'feel good' response to the rising cost of heating a home.
So far so good... but the bottom line reasons why households aren't able to pay their heating bills are really a lot simpler than the "complex issues of social stratification and endemic poverty areas" touted by the likes of NCAT

The lefties are at it again! Standing back and hollerin' about the high price of oil, which transalates to higher gas, diesel, heating oil , and just about everything else except air. When if we look at the stance adopted by every Democrat in the past thirty years - NO MORE REFINERIES, no refinery here, save the whales don't drill where the oil is!. yada yada yada.
The problem hee appears to be that no one checked the oil. But that is really a very logical result. The problem is that while the oil is located in Texas, Alaska, and California (off the coast), all of the dipsticks are in Washington D.C.

But it is really tiring to hear the Lefty Loonies bemoan the result of their failed energy policies by blaming the result of natural disasters like Katrina/Rita on Poor George. It is even more distressing to note the Tighty Righties haven't fixed it yet.
They've had the oppurtunity, but the only fix they've found so far is to try and spend so much money we can just burn dollar bills instead, with inflation at about a gazillion percent when the spending cycle finally comes home to roost and we have to start paying off the debt being amassed.

the Kansas Supreme Court unanimously struck down a state law that punished underage sex more severely if it involved homosexual acts, saying "moral disapproval" of such conduct is not enough to justify the different treatment.

So perhaps the relinquishment of a States ability to draw the line of "moral disapproval" of the act of murder would mean its okee dokee to off your neighbor if you find them to be irritating?
It seems that most of the basic laws we live under come from the perspective of "moral disapproval".
The little ones, murder, rape, burglary, child abuse, animal welfare laws, and the "should be a law" against the Jerry Spriiger Show" variety.
If the concept of there being a greater punishment exacted by society against an act which a preponderance of T'he People' find morally more repugnant makes that act discrimanatory, how does the idea of equal justice under law allow the treatment of Hate Crimes as desirable of more prison time, or a greater likelyhood of capital punishment.
The issue doesn't appear to be one wherein the KSC decided it was not OK to punish more harshly due to "moral disapproval" so much as a case of deciding it's not OK to penalize a very vocal group for being biologically conflicted.
Or the KSC would have struck down all prison sentences for which a "moral disapproval" stance had decreed a longer sentence, although it is perhaps not allowed for the KSC to stray very far from the case at hand. I'm not an attorney and I'm not certain how much discretion they had in the finding.
Nonethless, I would still count them in the chucklehead class.

Jews vs. Israelis

The secular Zionists have won another round with the near completion of the Gaza pullout. it seems as if Israel will have to go through the same sort of problems it went through two millenia ago.
Life can be a bummer when we don't listen to God tyhe Father and then DO WHAT HE TELLS US TO.
When the Father told the Jews to clear out the Promised Land,it could be that HE meant just that- clear it out !
The tribe of Dan failed in one area and left the Philistines in place, Since then its been nothing but trouble for the Jews.
They may have to lose it all over again, to have it replaced by the King of Glory on His appointed day.
Serves them right for not paying attention this time either I guess.
But still, all in all, sad to see.

Gaza defeat

The philistines have won this round!
The pullout of Israel from Gaza shows what the meddling of the Loony left can accomplish. (with the willing participation of our own Pres. Bush)
The philistines were never promised Gaza - only the Jews were promised the area. Not the Israeli's, just the Jews. That nation which called upon the God of Abraham in their time of need and then turned their back on Him when life was good.
The secularization of the nation of Israel has occurred at a much more rapid pace than in previous centuries. The Jews who began the current State of Israel would mourn the loss of the focus with which the nation was taken away from the philistines and grieve at the handing over of the land for which they fought.

Perhaps the question for Prime Minister Sharon should be:
At which Golden Calf do you worship ?

And for Pres. Bush:
Which Bible Translation do you have that tells you it's OK for the Jews to renegotiate the land deal with God the Father.

Casey Sheehan

Cindy Sheehan is greiving, that is understood. But... the actions she has chosen seem to me a detestable disservice to her son, who chose to volunteer to serve his country and placed himself in harms way by doing so.

The act of vounteering to serve ones country is noble. The act of serving ones country is correct IF YOU BELIEVE in the ultimate sacrifice for a greater good.

Casey Sheehan did a noble thing, he volunteered to serve his country and then he made the ultimate sacrifice. My hope is that he had a personal relationship with Christ, and that he would understand the grief his mother has gone through, and how that might alter her thinking and actions. Those actions being in effect a denigration of Casey's willingness to serve in a war to push the terrorists back into the slimehole they crawled out of.
