Swing Vote ???, Blogging is the answer

Re: SCOTUS nominee John G. Roberts - Sen. Chucky Schumer's rant this morning about the need to find someone who can be a swing voter is one of two things: a] A total lack of understanding about what the SCOTUS process is [possible] or
b] an early start of misinforming the American Public.
Chucky should know better, but he takes the typical liberal stance. If they [the Lefty Loonies] say it often enough and loud enough to the Old Media, enough people will finally believe it.
BUT... "The Blog is on!"
When the Lefty loonies realize the bloggers are the death knell to their idiotic rants, they will try to silence us.
When they atry to silence us we will BLOG EVEN LOUDER !!!!

And Howard Dean as always has an unbiased approach:

"Democrats take very seriously the responsibility to protect the individual rights of all Americans and are committed to ensuring that ideological judicial activists are not appointed to the Supreme Court.
Like The Ruth Bader Ginsburg chumpette. apparently she wouldn't pass muster with Howard "aaaarrrrrrghhhh" Dean. Even though being a LIBERAL ideologue.

Malovent Malveaux

On Julianne Malveaux's conversation with Sean Hannity today:

  • It puzzles me why Malovent Malveaux would want to live in a nation she describes as being a "terrorist nation" It really seems like she might be more at home in idyllic Cuba, perhaps Holland or even Hell.
    The vitriol she dumps on this country is poisonous at best but rarely well written- except for her grammar which is above average.
    She merely adds fuel to the argument against Intelligent Design.

    And her excoriation against Clarence Thomas while not criminal, is at best in poor taste. If she were a muslim I would reccommend she be pelted with pork sausage at every event she shows up at.

    Intelligent Design from my perspective is of course a far better idea than randomly mutating chimps and apes. An eye opener to find though, that even the Hindu's support the concept. Perhaps there is hope for them yet! It is perhaps a giant step for the Hindu's, to get from animist worship, to worshipping He who made the critters.
    But a step which can be found to be rooted in their theology. Presuming the existence of a Divine Creator is already part of the process for a Hindu. Explaining the concept of worshipping the Creator rather than the created is an exercise in patience, But can be rewarded by the emergence of a new creature in Christ - a FORMER Hindu.

    Londoners now probably understand better the fine line between Free Speech and the incitement to murderous action of Abu Hamza al-Masri. The muslim cleric who has for past several years been reported as inciting his followers to engage in the jihad, not in palestine or Iraq but their adopted homeland of England. He is also the Islamic facist who is uder investigation in this country for attempting to start a terror training camp in Oregon.
    Say what you will about the concept of "profiling' and the political incorecctness
    of it. As has been stated so many times already and by so many - The twin towers were not brought down by blond haired blue eyed Scandanavians.
    Just a bunch of Islamoterrorists who were predomanately Saudi Arabians. As is his supreme chucklehead Usama Bin Laden. Even with Saudi Arabia slagged over, the oil is still there.
    Slagging these goofy jihadists over isn't likely, and may not even be practical within the arena of world politics. It is an answer though, which no jihadist can mistake for an uneasiness about protecting this country from they're silliness.

    Hagel, Conyers, China, Kennedy

    Well I am simply stunned. Rep.John Conyers [D-Mich]] told Prez Bush to make Pres. Advisor Karl Rove cough up or resign, and lo and behold the Prez has paid no attention to Johnny Conyers. Hey, maybe its time to filibuster something !
    Maybe Chucky Hagel [R-Neb] and Johnny Conyers could find something together they could agree to filibuster. Or maybe Johnny could invite Chucky to the next mock impeachment and tea party.

    And whoa, hold the presses ! the Chicom oil Co. [CNOOC Ltd.] says we should stay out of its way, so they can buy Unocal, with the largest holdings in the Gulf of Mexico.
    Well that certainly appears to be sound planning.

    As strategeries go, it is nearly as good as Billy Clintons scurilous decision to give the Chicoms the advanced computers and software so they could figure out the orbital ballistics to guide their nuke missiles, and do the design work to configure the physical parameters of long range missile design.

    I would swear at times the Loony Left are at heart simply looking for the Chicoms, or any other Socialist Utopian Nation, to take over the World Leadership position so the Dems can sit back, fat, dumb, and happy like Teddy Kennedy.

    And speaking of 'Ole Chappaquiddic Teddy.
    Without even knowing who the Pres. will nominate for Sandra Day O'Connors slot on the high court, Ted's already getting his ducks in a row to "Bork 'em".

    That would have almost made sense if Ted had been talking about his buddy Robert 'KKK' Byrd or any of the other Dems who opposed the civil rights reforms.
    Let us not forget - it was the Republicans who pushed for and got the civil rights reforms through . And the Republicans who first had a black woman to seek the nomination (Angel Rocker Fla. 2000)

    And also the Republicans who had the first (in 1896, and at the time the only) black Congressman.

    With the Democrats track record it then becomes difficult at best to put up with Kennedy's statement Friday: "If the President abuses his power and nominates someone who threatens to roll back the rights and freedoms of the American people, then the American people will insist that we oppose that nominee, and we intend to do so."

    Senator Kennedy: Look to your own party if you want to fix the problems endemic to the cultural ills of the current generation, the generation your Great Society has created.

    Take a Moment

    Hey its the Fourth of July weekend, time for pretzels, hotdogs, iced cappucinos and a day off from work... right ?
    Think again, the Guys and Gals fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan or training somewhere to do the job of Freedom Protector of the United States don't have have the day off, probably don't have an iced cappucino or even (gasp) a cappucino of any kind.
    But they may have fireworks provided by the local [un]friendly jihadists.

    So maybe we can all take a moment to remember and perhaps even say a prayer for them. I'm sure they need it, and from my days in the USN even when I wasn't an active, committed Christian, I liked it when I thought about the folks back home praying for me.

    So here it is People, for every Man and Woman giving their all for the USA:
    Father God I pray you would touch every man and every woman in our Armed Services today.
    I pray that You Father would hold them in Your hand, watch over them as they go about their jobs today, wrap Your angels around each and every one of them.
    Be with the men and women in uniform today and let them know that we, as Americans may not be heard on ABC or CNN or any news anywhere today, but we are thinking of them and we care about them and we are praying for their safe return home.
    in Jesus holy name.

    re: The NIF (National Ignition Facility) which is a very large laser project at Lawrence Livermore Labs.
    Ole Petey wants the money back in his home state of New Mexico. But the NIF is already being built in Ca, so for Ole Petey the answer is to shut it down , no more construction money. Hey Pete, its $147 million, you guys in the senate spend more than that on fritos and bean dip for the senate break room every year.

    And just how do the interests of New Mexico trump the very real security and energy interests of the REST OF THE COUNTRY ?
