Well I am simply stunned. Rep.John Conyers [D-Mich]] told Prez Bush to make Pres. Advisor Karl Rove cough up or resign, and lo and behold the Prez has paid no attention to Johnny Conyers. Hey, maybe its time to filibuster something !
Maybe Chucky Hagel [R-Neb] and Johnny Conyers could find something together they could agree to filibuster. Or maybe Johnny could invite Chucky to the next mock impeachment and tea party.
And whoa, hold the presses ! the Chicom oil Co. [CNOOC Ltd.] says we should stay out of its way, so they can buy Unocal, with the largest holdings in the Gulf of Mexico.
Well that certainly appears to be sound planning.
As strategeries go, it is nearly as good as Billy Clintons scurilous decision to give the Chicoms the advanced computers and software so they could figure out the orbital ballistics to guide their nuke missiles, and do the design work to configure the physical parameters of long range missile design.
I would swear at times the Loony Left are at heart simply looking for the Chicoms, or any other Socialist Utopian Nation, to take over the World Leadership position so the Dems can sit back, fat, dumb, and happy like Teddy Kennedy.
And speaking of 'Ole Chappaquiddic Teddy.
Without even knowing who the Pres. will nominate for Sandra Day O'Connors slot on the high court, Ted's already getting his ducks in a row to "Bork 'em".
"Robert Bork's America is a land in which women would be forced into back alley abortions, blacks would sit at segregated lunch counters, rogue police could break down citizens' doors in midnight raids..."
That would have almost made sense if Ted had been talking about his buddy Robert 'KKK' Byrd or any of the other Dems who opposed the civil rights reforms.
Let us not forget - it was the Republicans who pushed for and got the civil rights reforms through . And the Republicans who first had a black woman to seek the nomination (Angel Rocker Fla. 2000)
And also the Republicans who had the first (in 1896, and at the time the only) black Congressman.

With the Democrats track record it then becomes difficult at best to put up with Kennedy's statement Friday: "If the President abuses his power and nominates someone who threatens to roll back the rights and freedoms of the American people, then the American people will insist that we oppose that nominee, and we intend to do so."
Senator Kennedy: Look to your own party if you want to fix the problems endemic to the cultural ills of the current generation, the generation your Great Society has created.
